Education is an integral part of modern society. Many higher educational institutions offer vast opportunities to the public to obtain qualifications that are necessary for the student to gain knowledge and experience.
As the world becomes more global so too is education. Students travel to foreign countries to study and learn. Often the cross cultural experiences are recognized as helpful to a foreign student.
The need to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment poses a challenge to higher learning institutions. One of these is the profiling of students, to be aware of their psyche, their affinity to issues related to nationality, religion and politics.
This Symposium on Enforcing Campus Security addresses some of these issues. Speakers will include high ranking officers from Polis Di Raja Malaysia, the Immigration, Ministry of Higher Education and also specialists in Criminology and others.
Participants are able to interact with the speakers and also share experiences via networking and gain valuable insights to assist in their work place.
